Welcome to Strong Wind Arts!

Strong Wind Arts is a Native American owned & operated business located in beautiful Benzonia Michigan.  Our focus is promoting native arts & crafts from the local Michigan tribes.  There are three tribes of native people here:  the Odawa, Ojibwe, and Bodawadomi.  As a community, we are known as the People of the Three Fires and in the language we call ourselves the Anishnabek.

Strong Wind Arts offers fine art, traditional & contemporary crafts, and jewelry handcrafted by both Anishnabe and non-Anishnabe artists. No two items are exactly the same and many crafts are made in the old way.   Everything we offer is locally crafted or made in Michigan.

Greg Antoine is our featured artist and founder of Strong Wind Arts.  In addition to Greg's beautiful art, our retail gallery has 25+ artists displaying works who are all phenomenally talented and are, by far, the kindest souls one could hope to meet.  It’s hard not to brag too much about them because they are such good people and it truly shines through in their art.  (Talk about good medicine!)  For many of our artists, their art is their livelihood so new pieces are always in the making.  If you are looking for something distinctively unique & made from the heart, we would be delighted to connect you with artists who will work with you to create something extra special...
